I am a public historian, curator, writer, non-profit administrator, and RYT®-200-certified yoga teacher based in Providence, RI. I graduated from Brown University's Masters in Public Humanities program in 2019, and earned my Bachelors in American History and Literature from Harvard University.
As a historical practitioner, I focus on centering and amplifying culturally marginalized narratives, relationships, and histories in ways that build inclusive communities. These projects can include exhibitions, installations, public programs, guided tours, and theatrical performances.
Some of my particular interests:
the history and ongoing legacy of slavery in the United States
histories of feminism and feminist historical practice
artistic interventions in historic spaces and artistic approaches to conveying historical narratives
